Let’s face it. Noone is perfect. We just aren’t. We can strive for order. I am not telling you to give up. But I can honestly say in striving it just sometimes doesn’t work out in any order I want!! Don’t you?? Sometimes we need to let go…I am finding that living simply for me involves less striving and more being still. God reminds us a lot of times to be still and I find that is not the easiest task… I am learning!!!. And here is another hard one: to be thankful even when things are getting me overwhelmed and nothing is working out. Here is what I am finding… that turning on praise music… even blaring my kids bible or praise cds (actually I highly recommend Hermie and Wormie’s scripture in song!) makes everything fade as I rest in God’s perfection. 2 Samuel 22:31-32 says “As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in Him. For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God.” Amen?
