This may seem simple… but often we wrestle with it… is there time to have fun??? We are sometimes all work and no play.. I know I can be… just hurrying along getting it all done! But I have missed out!!!
God created the world and saw everything was good. Are we looking at all the good? Are we seeing blessings and celebrating??? Are we finding joy in the work of our hands? Find simple pleasures. Enjoy God’s amazing creation and marvel in wide open wonder at what he has done. Look up instead of down at everything you are busy with. Fly a kite, dance, sing loud, play tag, go for a hike! Have a jelly bean party to celebrate answers to prayers! Celebrate life, celebrate your family. We need to stop and smell the roses instead of hurrying past! I want to urge you…go outside and really look up at the changing leaves… the array of colour against the darkening sky…our creative awesome God did that! It didn’t just happen. God planned it … for us to see everything beautiful in its time. Look at the carpet of colour falling down on the deadening grass…And enjoy it!
